President's Message
At ACHS, we see education as a holistic endeavour. We are not merely interested in preparing children for competitive exams but seek to offer an educational experience that shapes their spiritual, social and civic civic consciousness. We believe we are shaping citizens of India who will in turn shape the future of our nation. This shaping requires not only cultivating a mind but moral citizens who will advocate for justice. With the coming advent of artificial intelligence, soon many of today’s jobs will become obsolete. The question then becomes “What are we getting educated for ?” If it is simply “job training”, then we can all be easily replaced by robots. But what is it that makes us truly human? One area that will always make us unique over robots and artificial intelligence is creativity. It is imperative that parents, teachers and institutions provide an education that taps into the God-given potential as creative beings, to prepare students to be life-long learners who will be problem-solvers. With the introduction of sports, arts and skill clubs we are looking to expand the development opportunities of our students. Seeking the Lord’s blessings and wisdom to guide us into the future.
Dr. Stephen George - President of the Asian Christian Academy
Principal's Message
Why Asian Christian High School? We are one of the many CBSE schools at Hosur. And there are many others. Hence, we always ask ourselves why we are here. And the answers are many, in fact. We are here to serve. Serve the communities in the region and around. But we are regional only in the setting. In outlook, we are national and international–accommodating the best in educational philosophy from around the world. In today’s time it is a rarity to see schools run by educationalists. And even rarer to have the top Management with international education, exposure and experience coupled with a vision for future educational experiments. Hence, Hosur Block is our arena, but the world is our dominion.
We welcome our students and parents to enjoy a world-class educational experience that is built on all of the modernity. Enquiry and evidence based educational practices are core to our standard. 21st century skills in the learning, literacy and life skill levels are emphasized on at every step of the school’s curricular and co-curricular pursuits. Literacy and numeracy skills are benchmarked at different levels and stages. Provision of and opportunities for holistic education with the integration of regular academics with vocational streams, art education, sports/games education and clubs (culinary, photography, farm, robotics, music, sports etc. etc.) is the motto of ACHS.
Environmental education is one of the key thrust areas at the school from the foundational to the secondary school level. The school’s environmental, social and science curricula are designed to focus on environment-friendly curricular engagements. The ECO Club at ACHS in collaboration with Asian Christian Culinary and Agricultural and Science Institute (ACCASI) runs the Farm Club and the Culinary Club for imparting environmental education along with the driving of farm-to-table concept of enterprising among the school students. Safety of all students at ACHS is of paramount importance to us. CCTV surveillance (both on the campus and in the school buses) and GPS along
with trained security staff enables efficient monitoring of students.
May God bless!
Mr. Sijumon KG - Principal (2023- Present)
