    Classes 9th and 10th

Secondary education begins in grade 9 and lasts until grade 12. The secondary stage is broken into two, two-year cycles, generally referred to as

    • General/Lower Secondary School, or ‘Standard X’, and
    • Upper/Senior Secondary School, or ‘Standard XII’.

High School prepares students for the real world.

Secondary education plays a crucial role in shaping individuals and societies.

Our objective in high school is to emphasis on self-reading and critical thinking.

This level provides students a broad and balanced understanding of subjects including Languages, Mathematics, Science and Social Science and Information Technology to enable students to communicate effectively, analyse information, take informed decisions, construct their worldview in alignment with constitutional values and progress smoothly to be productive future citizens.

We prepare the students for different occupations, skills and vocations which enables them to make their appropriate adjustment in life as well as in society. It makes an important contribution in promoting the values of national understanding and national integration among the youth.

The focus of High School is learner-centered where students would be acquiring various skills; building self-concept, a sense of enterprise, aesthetic sensibilities, and sportsmanship.

An inclusive approach in education is a prerequisite for ensuring full participation of all students with equal opportunity in all areas without any discrimination.

There is an increased awareness among our educators of the need to integrate what is called as 21st Century skills in educational systems.

Art is also integrated with the teaching and learning process of all subjects to promote active and experiential learning for “connecting knowledge to life outside the school, ensuring that learning shifts away from rote methods and for enriching the curriculum, so that it goes beyond textbooks.”

Apart from classroom discussions, group projects, and research assignments, we educators cultivate students’ ability to analyze information, evaluate arguments, and present well-reasoned opinions. These skills are essential for success in any academic or professional endeavor.

As teens enter high school, they often begin to navigate balancing multiple life domains. In addition to increased academic demands, high school students often participate in extracurricular activities including Inter school sports tournaments, Football Club, Music club, Photography/Media Club, Debate, Dance, Culinary Club etc.
